Here we are!

Southwestern

Here's to living in Texas!














While looking for a logo from Southwestern to post with descriptions of my classes I stumbled upon this picture from the cover of the class catalog. Yeehaw.

In all reality I have been very impressed with what I have seen at Southwestern. I enjoy all of my classes, which include: Premarital and Marriage counseling, Basic Skills in Christian counseling, human growth and development, and spiritual formations (chapel class). My professors love what they teach (or at least have really fooled us) and teach in an encouraging and inspiring way.

We have chapel 3 days a week and have gotten to listen to many different pastors with different styles and perspectives.

For anyone looking for a seminary, I would definitely recommend SWBTS.

Here Sammy is helping Josh do his push-ups. Right before this picture he was totally on top of Josh's back going up and down, up and down.
He really likes to help us out!



In fact, he likes helping so much that he decided to help the neighbors clean up their yard by digging under the fence and dragging stuff from their yard into ours!
















I think Sammy is actually keeping count for Josh and encouraging him not to give up.

A house for Sammy

Here is Sammy with his new house! Josh and a friend from church built this house for Sammy this past Sunday. Now Sarah doesn't have to feel bad when he has to stay outside while we are gone.
We are not sure yet if he likes going in there. So far he has just been digging holes and sleeping in those.
